Yin Yoga is a slow, reflective, and healing practice. It includes yoga postures held for 2-5 minutes, deep breathing, relaxing muscles, and looking for sensations in the connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones).
This class is donation based and dedicated to support anyone affected by the Marshall fire. So many from our community lost homes and so many are heartbroken. It will take time to rebuild homes and to heal from trauma. I invite you to join me for this soothing practice, setting intentions, supporting each other and those directly affected.
All donations from this class will be delivered to Sister Carmen Community Center in Lafayette.
You will need a yoga mat, a blanket or a thick towel, a bolster or a long firm pillow, a strap, and two yoga blocks or thick books.
