Recipes for Fall/Winter

Baked Oatmeal Biscuits

This is my favorite recipe and is a go-to for my gluten-intolerant son. It’s great for breakfast, as a snack, or fulfilling those mid-afternoon cravings. You can play with flavors and proportions and have fun customizing it.

Super Power Chai Tea Latte

This tea can save your day (or at least a hectic morning). I make this tea every day during the fall and winter when I need something nourishing to keep me warm and calm. This tea has healthy fats, protein, carbs, and spices to keep you going for a few hours.

Chai Tea Cookies

Shared with me by a fellow mom, these are always a hit at gatherings and pair well with coffee and tea. These cookies signal the fall and winter season and are super cozy on a brisk day. Bake them and your house will smell amazing!

Pumpkin Bread with White-Chocolate Chips

I make this at least once a week during the fall and winter season. My whole family loves the way the bread tastes and enjoys the aroma in the kitchen while the bread is in the oven. I am happy to serve something that is full of nutrients, as it pairs great with coffee or tea, a midday snack, or after-dinner dessert with a scoop of ice cream. Yum!

My Mom’s Dill pickles

This is my mother’s recipe, who has been making pickles ever since I can remember. The fermentation process produces billions of probiotics essential for our gut health and our immune system, just in time before cold and flu season hits.
